imjustanormalmotherfucker: I enjoyed both. Even If Morrowind was my “first”. They both got their good and bad sides. While I greatly prefer Skyrim’s battle mechanism and huge worlds. Morrowind wins with the best storylines and quests, also the sheer atmosphere of Morrowind sends chills down my spine. It’s such an alien and beautiful environment that neither Oblivion nor Skyrim have been able to live up to. In my humble opinion.  Truth.  Though I feel like a lot of the aspects of Skyrim that are better than Morrowind are due to the limitations of Morrowind’s time as opposed to Skyrim’s. However, having not played a ton of games from Morrowind’s period, I can’t really say that for sure. Simply put: Morrowind is more creative. The animations aren’t great, the magic system sucks, the stealth system sucks, the archery system - who even knows?, but the creatures and the plants and everything don’t exist in real life and aren’t borrowed from someone’s mythology and I love that.
